This blog was originally set up as a means of keeping friends and family updated during Nolan's surgery and hospital stay in January 2008. It has evolved into a report of the adventures he and his twin sister, Reagan, AKA "The Twinadoes" share with their family and friends. As well as our pursuit of happiness through food, wine, and friends.
My gosh, how adorable they are. I sure hope they enjoyed their Easter Dinner and ate with great zest.
Last evening (Monday) we celebrated my youngest (of 5) grandchildrens' birthdays, Jacob Myers turned 9. (Usually we don't differentiate among them...all 10 are "ours".) We ate at his favorite place...somewhere I know that these two will NEVER set food into...Red Robin! But, at least, skinny Jacob, with the pale skin, ate!!! And we went home and had cake that he helped his mom bake...a football cake. The frosting, that had been brown, turned Goosesh-t Green!!! He found that to be the funniest thing in the world and so did all of us! Couldn't figure out why, either!
Wait until Reagan runs through the house (we know she'll be the one, don't we? ) yelling Goosesh-t, goosesh-t! And she'll be doing it at the age of about 3! The word for our beautiful little darling is "Spitfire."
And Nolan, he of the perfectly smooth forehead and that glorious smile, looks like the jolly and patient sweetie pie. He'll let her get into all of the trouble first, I'm sure. LOL!
Your children are adorable. Has anyone else mentioned how closely Nolan resembles Gary Danko? Perhaps I've been watching too much Bittman, but whenever I see Gary, I see little Nolan's cherubic face! Uncanny. Both kiddles are just yummy!
