This blog was originally set up as a means of keeping friends and family updated during Nolan's surgery and hospital stay in January 2008. It has evolved into a report of the adventures he and his twin sister, Reagan, AKA "The Twinadoes" share with their family and friends. As well as our pursuit of happiness through food, wine, and friends.

Mom Update
I just talked to my mom. She is very sore. It is so hard to stay in that one position for so many hours. Hopefully PT will be coming by soon and the plan was to get her sitting up on the edge of the bed and possibly even taking a few steps. She sounds a lot more in pain today than she did yesterday.
She and her friend are sharing a room, which is nice since I was helping her out yesterday as well in between visits from her sons. I'm a mommy of twins, I can handle two joint-replacements "moms" as well! LOL
